IPL Photofacial
+ - How Many Treatments Will I Need?

You will see improvement in skin tone and appearance in as little as one IPL photofacial treatment session, however, most patients undergo a minimum of three treatments with our Lumecca IPL for best results. The IPL photofacial treatment is determined based on the severity of skin damage, skin type and treatment results desired.

+ - Does IPL Photofacial Hurt?

During your Lumecca IPL treatment, there will be a bright flash of light from the device which produces a sensation similar to that of a light rubber band snap. Redness and warming of the skin are normal after treatment, and usually subside within an hour. Most patients find the treatment to be tolerable. We do offer Pro-Nox, if needed. See Pro-Nox page for all the details.

+ - Who Is An Ideal Candidate?

Anyone with vascular lesions, port wine stains, facial, truncal and leg telangiectasias, rosacea, erythema of rosacea, hemangiomas, angiomas and spider angiomas, poikilodenna of Civatte, superficial leg veins, hyperpigmentation, and freckles.  Lumecca IPL is cleared for use on skin types I - IV.

+ - How Much Does IPL Cost?

Lumecca IPL Photofacial requires a consultation appointment to determine treatment plan and pricing.

Consultations at Beyond Esthetics are complimentary.

+ - What Is The Downtime?

There is no downtime with Lumecca IPL. After treatment, redness and a slight warming of the skin are normal. These usually subside within an hour or two. + - What Skin Types Can Be Treated?

In darker skin types, traditional IPL is often not recommended. The reason is that the darker the pigment, the harder it is for a conventional laser to target and break them down. However, if you have light or dark skin, you can rely on Lumecca’s advanced technology. It has a wide range of wavelengths suitable for treating various skin areas and skin conditions. Lumecca IPL is cleared for use on skin types I - IV.

+ - Does Laser Hair Removal Hurt?

This is one of the most exciting facts about the Diolaze, the laser head is designed to provide pre, during and post treatment cooling to the skin to provide a painless treatment. Reduction of hair bumps and ingrown hairs will be markedly noticeable even after your first session.

You should see about 80 to 95 percent reduction in hair growth. The follicles that remain are damaged and produce a finer hair than you had before laser treatment. Opus Plasma
+ - What Is Opus Plasma?

The first-of-its-kind fractional plasma technology, Opus Plasma represents a new chapter for energy-based devices, addressing global or localized textural and skin quality concerns often corrected with conventional fractional resurfacing lasers in the past.

  • Operating at a high frequency of over 40MHz, the metal pins on the Opus Plasma tips are super-charged with high-voltage.
  • When in close proximity of the skin, the charged pins react to atmospheric pressure in the air, creating plasma that in turn, creates the microthermal zones of fractional injuries.
  • Our Opus treatment delivers radio frequency energy at multiple levels to customize a treatment for your specific skincare concerns, using a range of settings to safely and effectively resurface the skin.

+ - How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Incredible results happen as soon as the first treatment, however for maximum results we recommend 3-4 treatments. We recommend scheduling them 3 weeks apart. The results of Opus Plasma Spark are permanent; however natural aging will still occur, so to maintain results you can have a maintenance treatment as often as every 6 months.

Dead, flaky skin cells are gently exfoliated by dispersing crystals evenly and comfortably to reveal a healthier glow and renewed skin.

This simple, non-invasive technique improves the overall texture, clarity, and tone of the skin.

Removal of the surface layer of the skin allows for better product penetration to treat various types of skin conditions.

• Leaves little/no redness

• No chemicals, incisions or lasers

• Rejuvenates your skin to an optimal healthy state

• Individualized treatments

• No downtime

• Results are immediate

• Affordable

• Suitable to most skin types

This peel is a non-invasive, virtually painless treatment with only 2-4 days of peeling.

+ - How Many Treatments Will I Need?

After one treatment overall skin tone and complexion will appear smooth, glowing and fresh. Depending on skin conditions, multiple treatments may be necessary for desired results. A series of 2-3 treatments applied once every 4 weeks will allow for optimal results for more severe skin conditions such as melasma and active acne.

+ - How Soon Will I See Results?

Immediately after the peel has been applied the skin will either appear red, like a sunburn, or darker. On day three, peeling will begin. Your kit will contain a moisturizer that will reduce the visibility of peeling by hydrating. The amount of peeling skin associated with this peel is mainly a sloughing of thin sheets of epidermis skin that begins around day three and generally is completed by day six or seven.

We recommend 2 to 4 treatments of The Perfect Peel per year to maintain desired results.

+ - What Areas Can Be Treated?

Cryo T-Shock
+ - How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Number of treatments greatly depends on severity of the area and the area you'd like to treat. We offer complimentary consultation appointments and will do our best to get you the most cost effective packaging.

+ - Does Cryo T-Shock Hurt?

Short answer, no it doesn't hurt. However, as temperatures drop below freezing some people might not find the first few minutes enjoyable. Once the area starts to freeze though, it is 100% tolerable. Bonus! The T-Shock part means thermal shock, so you always end with a little heat {everyones favorite part}.

+ - Who Is The Ideal Candidate?

Men and women who would like to eliminate excess, stubborn fat deposits, and cellulite can benefit from Cryo T-Shock treatments. Ideal candidates are overall healthy with a positive attitude going into their treatment. Individuals with kidney disease or severe diabetes or those who are pregnant or undergoing chemotherapy should not receive these treatments.

+ - How Soon Will I See Results?

Treatments starts off with a couple minutes of heat and then a period of cold. Finally, another 2-3 minutes of heat is administered. This change in temperature is required for the cells to go through apoptosis, or cell death when tissues reach cold temperatures. The dead fat cells are then naturally passed through the body. While part of the fat cells will be destroyed during your treatment session, some fat cells will also be eliminated over the following 2-3 weeks. Patients can return every 14 days for another treatment until their desired results are met.

You may also notice that you need to urinate more frequently for a few days after treatment as your body flushes out the dead fat cells. Because this procedure increases your metabolic processes, exercising for 30 minutes afterwards will help to quicken your metabolism and will maximize your cryotherapy results.

Visible results are often seen one week after treatment, though more apparent results will appear about three weeks after the start of treatment. Results are long-lasting if you maintain a healthy lifestyle.

+ - How Much Does It Cost?

Cryo T-Shock requires a consultation appointment to determine treatment plan and pricing.

Consultations at Beyond Esthetics are complimentary.

+ - What Is The Downtime?

Emsculpt
+ - How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Four 30- minute treatments, performed at least 2 days apart, are recommended for best results, though more treatments can be performed to improve the area further. Your personal outcome goals will be discussed at consultation and a custom plan will be created.

+ - Does Emsculpt Hurt?

The EMSCULPT procedure feels like an intensive workout, as your muscles are undergoing a vigorous series of contractions every few minutes for a total of 30 minutes. There is also a prickling sensation during the treatment, but there should never be pain. Most patients relax or take a little nap during it.

There is also a cycle during the treatment that helps taps out the lactic acid, leaving you without the soreness of a typical workout.

+ - Who Is An Ideal Candidate?

Anyone who wants to strengthen their abdominal, buttock, triceps, biceps, thigh or calves muscles can benefit from the EMSCULPT procedure. The best candidates, who are most likely to achieve visible, satisfying results, are of normal weight, exercise regularly, and eat a healthy diet.

Patients who are not ideal candidate:

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Cardiac pacemaker, defibrillator, implanted neurostimulator, drug pump or electronic
    implanted device
  • Metal rods, pins, plates, metal IUD or orthopedic implants/joints
  • Pulmonary insufficiency, cardiac disorders, epilepsy or active malignancy
  • Bleeding disorders, or taking blood thinners

  • Any injury, damage or tear to muscle or soft tissue in the area to be treated including
    active hernia
  • You may not use the device near your chest, head or neck
  • You are under 18 years old
+ - How Much Does Emsculpt Cost?

Emsculpt requires a consultation appointment to determine treatment plan and pricing.

Consultations at Beyond Esthetics are complimentary.

+ - What Is The Downtime?

EMSCULPT is non-invasive and requires no recovery time or any pre/post treatment preparation ordowntime. Most patients aren't even sore the next day as Emsculpt has a "tapping" phase that helps clear out lactic acid... so you don't feel like you did 20,000 sit-ups the next day.

+ - How Soon Will I See Results?

The muscles treated will feel stronger with each treatment, with increased muscle mass resulting about 2-4 weeks after the 4 treatment series. Improvement of the overlying fat is appreciable by about 3 months after the series is completed. We recommend a good exercise regimen to maintain results. Many individuals find EMSCULPT treatments at 6 month intervals are useful to maintain results.

+ - What Areas Can Be Treated?

EMSCULPT is a non-invasive, FDA approved treatment to build and strengthen muscle and improve tone. A 30-minute treatment is equivalent to 20,000 sit ups or squats. It is the only procedure to help both women and men build muscle to sculpt their bodies. EMSCUPT can tone and tighten the abdomen and is the world’s first non-invasive buttock lifting procedure. The larger handpiece treats the abdomen, buttocks and thighs. The smaller handpiece is for the biceps, triceps and calves.

+ - How Soon Will I See Results?

Plasma IQ will produce immediate regenerative results. The skin will continue to tighten for up to 12 weeks. For surgery-like results, we recommend at least three sessions spaced three weeks apart.

PRP Microneedling
+ - How Many Treatments Will I Need?

The number of treatments that a person receives will vary. People may need repeat treatments to see results from Microneedling with PRP. We recommend a series of at least 3 treatments. Larger scars may take longer to respond to this treatment.

+ - Does PRP Microneedling Hurt?

We want all our beauties to enjoy their treatments. We will use medical grade topical numbing cream for this treatment. We also offer Pro-Nox to assist with any anxiety you may have. See Pro-Nox page for all the details.

+ - Who Is An Ideal Candidate?

Microneedling with PRP may not be suitable during pregnancy or for people with certain conditions or other risk factors, including those who have:

  • used or are using isotretinoin to treat acne
  • active acne
  • skin conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis, or rosacea
  • a history of scarring or bruising easily
  • a platelet or blood disorder
  • had major surgery within the last 6 months
  • HIV

+ - How Much Does PRP Microneedling Cost?

PRP Microneedling requires a consultation appointment to determine treatment plan and pricing.

Consultations at Beyond Esthetics are complimentary.

+ - What Is The Downtime?

Recovery from microneedling is usually quick. People may experience some soreness and tenderness immediately after the treatment. The area may also have redness, and there may be some mild bruising, which usually clears within 3 days. See Post Treatment under the Resources tab for aftercare instructions.

+ - How Soon Will I See Results?

Microneedling with PRP can also take a few weeks to show results, as the body takes time to produce collagen. As a result, people might see results in the first week but can expect to keep seeing improvements in their skin in the weeks following their treatment.

+ - What Areas Can Be Treated?

Microneedling (with or without PRP) can improve a variety of skin conditions, including:

  • Acne scars
  • Age spots
  • Wrinkling
  • Sun damage
  • Scarring caused by surgery or stretch marks
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Skin's tone and texture

If you have severe or large areas to be treated, we might recommend Opus Plasma or Morpheus8 Body.

A topical anaesthetic is applied to the area that will be treated. Next our NP will draw a small sample of blood. This is then spun in a centrifuge for approximately 10-15 minutes to separate the plasma from the other blood particles. Lastly, the platelet rich plasma is then reinjected back into the treatment area, stimulating collagen and elastin production.

ProNox
+ - Is ProNox Safe?

Nitrous Oxide is a naturally occurring gas that acts as a weak general anesthetic when inhaled. It has been used safely in medicine for well over a century to relieve pain during surgical procedures, labor and childbirth, and dental procedures.

The gas in PRO-NOX is a blend of nitrous oxide and pure oxygen, which offers you optimal, safe, anxiety relief without lingering side effects. Basically, the gas quickly enters your bloodstream, and quickly induces an analgesic and sedative effect. However, the gas does not bind with hemoglobin or alter any cells, so it completely exits your system after a few breaths of normal air.

+ - How Much Does ProNox Cost?

ProNox Hose $20 {One time fee if you bring your hose to each appointment}

ProNox $50 per appointment

+ - Will Procedure Hurt With ProNox?

ProNox® is not a replacement for a local anesthetic, although nitrous oxide does have an analgesic effect. What happens during the time when a patient uses the ProNox® system is that the central nervous system slows down in terms of responsiveness. A natural byproduct of this is the enhancement of other pain medications. Patient comfort is a high priority to us, and we have elected to incorporate ProNox® as a way to complement the effects of local anesthetic.

+ - Who Is Not A Candidate For ProNox?

Relative contraindications for Nitrous Oxide include: Pulmonary disease, respiratory infections, pregnancy, psychiatric disorder, compromised immune system, multiple sclerosis, use of marijuana or hallucinogenic drugs, blocked middle ear, high anxiety, exposure to Nitrous Oxide within the last week.

Absolute Contraindications for Nitrous Oxide include: Nasal obstruction, retina or ocular condition, bowel obstruction, severe emphysema, inability to communicate due to disability or language barrier, increased intracranial pressure, alcoholism, inability to hold the mouthpiece, potential impairment of consciousness or under the influence of potential substances of abuse (i.e. drugs or alcohol) or active psychosis, use of opioids within 2 hours prior to use of Nitrous Oxide, use of methadone or buprenorphine and naloxone (suboxone) within the last 5 days.

Opioids and benzodiazepines are prohibited 12 hours prior to the use of Nitrous Oxide.

Lashes
+ - What Are Lash Lifts?

Lash Lift and Tint:

A lash lift is an all-natural procedure that gives you the appearance of fuller, thicker eyelashes without any maintenance. Your natural lashes will be curled upward, so say goodbye to that old lash curler.  You can also have your natural lashes tinted. This will give you the appearance of mascara without having to apply any.

Lash Lifts last approximately 6-8 weeks based off your natural growth cycle. Just like hair, you are always shedding and growing new eyelashes. As you naturally shed your lashes and grow new ones back in your Lash Lift will gradually fade.

+ - How Much Do Lashes Cost?

+ - Aftercare For Lashes?

Lash Lifts:

  • Avoid waterproof mascara. It is harder to remove causing you to scrub harder making lashes shed prematurely.
  • Avoid using oils and multiple skin care products around the eye.
  • Avoid eye masks and eyelash curlers.
  • Be aware of how often you rub your eyes, and try to avoid doing so if possible.
  • Do not get them wet for 24 hours post treatment.
+ - What Are Classic Lash Extensions?

Classic Eyelash Extensions:

  • A method where one eyelash is glued on to one natural lash individually
  • This method is also known as 1 to 1
  • Classic lashes are perfect for clients who already have a lot of lashes but want to add more length
  • Classic lashes look very natural
+ - What Are Hybrid Lash Extensions?

Hybrid Lashes:

  • A method that is half way step between a classic set of eyelash extensions and a volume set
  • A 50/50 mixture of 1:1 lashes and the handmade fanned, volume style lashes
  • They are more textured and give a life-like, non-uniform lash look
  • They are versatile in offering a thicker, denser look than classic lashes, but without the uniformity and softness of a typical volume set
+ - What Are Volume Lash Extensions?

Volume Lashes:

  • A method where multiple lashes are applied to one single natural eyelash individually, isolating one natural eyelash at a time
  • Using very thin lashes, volume lashes are lighter, fluffier, and give the client a fuller look
  • They are perfect for the client with sparse lashes that want a fuller look as well

Waxing
+ - How Much Does Waxing Cost?
  • Back $80
  • Bikini $50
  • Brazilian $80
  • Brows $25
  • Chest $70
  • Chin $15
  • Upper Lip $12
  • Lip/Chin $25
  • Half/Full Arms $40/$70
  • Full Face $40
  • Half/Full Legs $50/$100
  • Side Burns $20
  • Stomach $20
  • Underarms $25
+ - Does It Hurt?

Fair question, and the answer varies. It really depends on your pain tolerance, but we try to make it as painless as possible. If you are extremely anxious, ask us about ProNox.

BONUS TIP: the more you wax, the less uncomfortable it is.

+ - Pre Appointment Prep?
  • Gently exfoliate and lightly moisturize the day before to remove dead skin cells and prepare the hairs for waxing.
  • Avoid oils and lotions the day of your waxing appointment.
  • We recommend you grow your hair 1/4 inch so the wax can adhere well and give you the best possible outcome. Think the length of a piece of long grain rice.
+ - Any Specific Details For Bikini/Brazilian Waxes?
  • Keep it Loose: Loose clothing and breathable material is a must for 2-3 days post-wax.
  • No Touching: Refrain from touching freshly waxed skin; it can irritate and cause pimples.
  • Be Gentle: Refresh with a shower and keep the waxed area clean. Avoid harsh cleansers or overly scented lotions.
  • Play It Cool: Hot showers, saunas, tanning beds and steam rooms should wait for at least 2-3 days.
  • Sorry:  No sexual activity for 24 hours to avoid skin irritation/friction.
  • Toss that Razor: It will be hard but try to avoid shaving between your Brazilian or bikini waxes. Shaving creates coarser hair; routine waxing of this hair will make it thinner. Thinner hair = more enjoyable waxing appointments.

Sentient Sculpt
+ - What Areas Can Sculpt Treat?

Sentient Sculpt treatments are performed in “zones.” Each zone is a space of approximately 36 square inches
(approx. 6″ x 6″, 4″ x 9″, or 5″ x 7″).

We treat each zone for approximately 15 minutes, and can treat 1-6 zones per session.

To help you visualize the areas that can be treated in a single session, here are the average zones by body part:

  • Abdomen and love handles: 2-4 zones
  • Front of thighs: 4-8 zones (2-3 zones per leg)
  • Back of thighs: 4-8 zones (2-3 zones per leg)
  • Saddlebags (outer thighs): 2-4 zones (1-2 zones per leg)
  • Upper arms: 2-4 zones (1-2 zones per arm)
+ - How Soon Will I See Results?

Visible skin tightening will begin to appear 30 days after your first treatment and continue for up to 3 months, and fat and cellulite reduction results will take 8-12 weeks to fully appear.

As the fat cells and fibrous bands in the dermis that cause cellulite dimples are broken down, your dermis will also begin to generate new collagen, resulting in smoother, firmer skin over time. The dissolved fat and tissue are metabolized by your body over time and flushed out naturally.

This treatment requires a consultation appointment and during it we will design a customized treatment plan depending on your needs. For cellulite and unwanted fat on the abdomen and thighs, we typically recommend 3-4 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart for optimal results.

+ - Does Sculpt Hurt?
  • Sculpt is remarkably effective because it uses 2.45 Gigahertz energy, and Mechanical Movement Massage™, working from the inside out.
  •  Practically painless experience—doesn’t hurt like invasive and painful body treatments
  • No social downtime or bruising—discrete and fast-healing process
+ - Who Is An Ideal Candidate?

Sculpt can be used on any patient who would like to remove unwanted fat and tighten the skin all over the body.

It is safe for all skin types.

Here are some of the most common treatments we offer:

  • Tighten and tone upper arms
  • Tighten loose, sagging skin on the stomach
  • Reduce love handles and belly pooch
  • Eliminate bra rolls on the back
  • Improve appearance of “muffin top”
  • Lift and firm buttocks
  • Destroy cellulite on the backs of thighs and buttocks
  • Tighten skin and reduce fat on the flanks

Unfortunately, people with the following conditions are not suitable for this treatment:

  • Pregnancy
  • Heart failure
  • Metal implants or pacemakers
  • Severe clotting disorders
  • Organ transplants
  • Current or recent cancer
  • Severe heart/vascular disease
  • Skin disease in the treatment area
  • Uncontrolled diabetes
  • Hernias
  • Diastasis Recti
  • Lupus
+ - How Much Does Sculpt Cost?

Sculpt treatments are performed in zones. Each zone is approximately a 6"x6" area. We treat each zone for approximately 15 minutes, and can treat 1-4 zones per treatment session.

To help you visualize the areas that can be treated in a single session, here are the average zones by body part:

  • Abdomen: 1-2 zones
  • Love handles: 2 zones
  • Front of thighs: 1-2 zones
  • Back of thighs: 1-2 zones
  • Saddlebags (outer thighs): 1-2 zones
  • Upper arms: 1-2 zones

Sculpt requires a consultation appointment to determine treatment plan and pricing.

Consultations at Beyond Esthetics are complimentary.

+ - What Is The Downtime?

Using microwaves, Sentient Sculpt uses up to 80% of the energy generated to penetrate the fat under the skin, destroying fat cells and the fibrous bands in the dermis that cause cellulite.

The other 20% of the energy is used in the upper layers of the skin, tightening and contracting skin to improve its appearance.

Thanks to this distribution of energy and the built-in dermis cooling system, the skin is not heated, reducing the risk of inflammation and discomfort. The treatment is usually painless, with no downtime needed.

+ - How Many Treatments Will I Need?

This answer varies by patient. It also varies on what area/severity of the area being treated. We will schedule you a complimentary consultation appointment to discuss your concerns and create a custom plan. Pricing will be determined in advance and there is no requirement to proceed with treatment after consultation. As always, we want you to be 100% comfortable with your options.

+ - What Skin Types Can Be Treated?

It is safe for use on all skin types and most patients report little to no pain during treatment.

Hollywood Facial
+ - How Many Treatments Will I Need?

You will see immediate results after your first Hollywood Laser Peel Facial. However, like most treatments the benefits are cummlative and we will recommend a series of multiple treatment sessions to get optimal, long-lasting results. You will also need to undergo repeated treatments a few times a year to maintain the positive effects of your Hollywood Laser Peel.

+ - Does a Hollywood Facial Hurt?

No. Patients may hear some snapping sounds as the laser moves across the surface of the skin, but it does not hurt. Patients report feeling only warmth and mild tingling, but the treatment is comfortable and does not require any anesthetic. Some even say it feels like a feather tickling their face.

+ - Who Is An Ideal Candidate?

The Hollywood Laser Peel® is designed to rejuvenate the skins appearance by diminishing the signs of aging and repairing wrinkled or sun damaged skin. It also corrects uneven skin pigmentation and reduces age spots, sunspots and other unwanted discoloration.

Additionally, it refines the appearance of pores and reduces acne and scars. And its mild exfoliation leaves skin softer and smoother skin texture, for a visibly glowing, more radiant appearance. This is why celebrities love it before appearing on the red carpet!

+ - How Much Does a Hollywood Facial Cost?

Hollywood Facials can be used to help address multiple skincare concerns and requires a consultation appointment to determine treatment plan and pricing.

Consultations at Beyond Esthetics are complimentary.

+ - What Is The Downtime?

The lasers are gentle on your skin so no downtime is needed. You can return to your regular activities or resume your normal duties immediately after your treatment.

This is another reason it is loved by actors and influencers – for an instant appearance boost before A-list appearances.

+ - How Soon Will I See Results?

A Hollywood Laser Peel is an exfoliating and resurfacing laser treatment that improves the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, skin pigment and acne. It promotes glowing, youthful-looking skin.

The effect of this treatment is immediate. However, depending on severity of condition {acne, melasma} you are treating you will need multiple treatments. We would happy to create a treatment plan for you so you know how many treatments you may need before you begin.

+ - What Skin Types Can Be Treated?

This non-invasive treatment is safe and effective on all skin types. However, your skin needs to be healthy or only mildly damaged to get the full benefits of this laser skin rejuvenation treatment. You will also need to be in general good health to undergo this treatment. See Pre/Post for more details.

+ - How Does The Hollywood Facial Work?

First, a layer of carbon-based lotion – resembling a mud mask – is applied to the skin. Next, once the mask is set, a laser is moved over the skin to eliminate skin imperfections two ways.

Specific laser frequencies target the color in the unwanted pigmentation, disintegrating the pigmented cells while leaving the rest of the surrounding skin unharmed. Over time the destroyed cells will by naturally removed by the body overtime – reducing or eliminating age spots, sunspots, dark spots melasma, and other discolorations and signs of aging.

But the Spectra™ Hollywood Laser Peel® doesn’t stop there! By heating the skin, the laser heat energy stimulates the renewed production of collagen and elastin. The newly developed collagen fibers strengthen, smooth and tighten the skin, eliminating lines and wrinkles. And the renewed elastin restores elasticity to the skin, so it “snaps back” in place like it did when you were young – eliminating sagging and wrinkling.

Additionally, as the Spectra™ laser moves over the skin, it removes the carbon mask layer along with a very fine layer of the epidermis (top layer of skin cells). This exfoliation immediately reveals the younger, smoother skin cells beneath – for instant glow and refreshing of the complexion.

+ - When Will I See Results?

We recommend routine facial treatments for best results but you will see the benefits after your first facial.

+ - What Skin Types Can Be Treated?

AquaFirme is safe and effective for almost all skin types. If you are uncertain about a specific condition we'd love to schedule you for a complimentary consultation appointment and discuss it with you.

Tattoo Removal
+ - How Does Spectra Tattoo Removal Work?

Spectra uses a beam of light to significantly lighten or completely remove your tattoo. When the ink particles absorb the light from the laser, they are broken up into tiny fragments and then absorbed through your body's immune system. This process generally takes a few weeks.

+ - What Is The Downtime?

With no downtime and minimal side effects, you can return to your normal activities immediately after a session.

+ - How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Laser removal is usually performed in intervals spaced at least 4-6 weeks apart to allow the area to heal between treatments.

The exact number of laser treatments needed varies depending on the size, age, depth, and complexity of the tattoo. The amateur tattoos respond more quickly to treatment than professional tattoos. Fox example, amateur tattoos can be removed in as few as 1 or 2 treatments, while professional tattoos may take 8 – 10 or more treatments to achieve maximum results.

Each session usually takes 15 - 30 minutes. You will continue to see lightening of your tattoo after each treatment as your body disposes of more pigment.

Most patients will have a 90-100% removal in 6-8 sessions, but this can vary. Some will need less, and some may need more.

We require a consultation appointment to discuss number of treatments we recommend, as well as pricing per treatment.

+ - How Soon Will I See Results?

Immediately following treatment, the laser treated skin will look white. This is soon replaced by redness and then scabbing. It is important to keep the treated area moist and protected from the sun as it heals.

+ - How Much Does Spectra Tattoo Removal Cost?

Pricing varies dependent on multiple factors like size, color, depth of tattoo, age of tattoo, etc.

Number of sessions required will be determined during a complimentary consultation prior to treatment, when a quote is drawn up and the effects are explained.

Please note that, the more ink the tattoo contains, i.e. the deeper and darker it is, the more sessions will be required in order to remove it.

+ - What Will My Tattoo Look Like After Treatment?

Immediately after your treatment, your skin will have a white discoloration, and the area around the tattoo may become reddish and appear swollen. This is normal and will disappear slowly over time. Immediately after treatment, antibacterial ointment and gauze will be applied to the treated area to minimize infection and speed healing.

Common side effects of laser tattoo removal are minimal and uncommon in most patients, but don't be alarmed if you find signs of frosting, scabbing, swelling, discomfort, itching, hypo- and hyperpigmentation and blistering.  If you develop a blister-like bubble, DO NOT PICK OR POP.

Blistering is common, and will likely occur within 8 hours after your tattoo removal treatment. Do not be alarmed, blisters heal well and are part of the normal healing process.  Blisters will heal anywhere between 3 and 14 days if properly cared for. Blisters are an indication that your immune system is healing the area and beginning to remove the ink from your tattoo.

As long as you follow proper aftercare instructions, you won’t experience much discomfort  or have any residual effects after sessions.

+ - Does Tattoo Removal Hurt?

Tattoo Removal has been described as a "rubber band snap". We always want our beauties comfortable so we will offer numbing for this treatment. In addition, Nitrous Oxide (Pronox) is also available to use during your procedure to ensure you're 100% comfortable.
